Today marks Day 3 of Frost's 30 Day Optimism Challenge. You can play catch up by starting with my intro to this series and following the "next" link from there.
Today Frost asks participants to "delete apps from your phone".
I don't use my cell for phone calls much, and never get any as I rarely give it out, but I do have apps on it that I find useful, from Metro to weather, news to search, Chick Fil-A to Whataburger, and more.
That being said I DID find 1o apps to kiss good0bye too.
There would have been others, but since they came with the cell all that deleting them would do would set the app back to a factory setting, not delete it from the phone.
Frost writes that "culling and organizing your digital spaces like your phone, desktop and inbox are a great way to simplify the days ahead.".
My new computer came with a number of programs, but I am not going to be deleting any for now.
As for my Gmail & Hotmail....
I have been deleting old emails from both for some time and it can seem like a never-ending process, but I will keep at it.
I feel sorry for people who have more than just a couple of email accounts to deal with as I imagine the number of emails some folks, with busy personal and business lives, get.
