I've just finished reading one of the most frightening books a political junkie could read.
Especially, one who once considered himself mostly a Liberal.
You Don't Say: Sometimes Liberals Show Their True Colors by Fred Gielow.
The blurb on the back says:
Read this book and you will never again consider politics a periodic trip to the voting booth. You will find it's a fundamental fight for morality and freedom!
The book presents 76 quotes by Liberal politicians and activists, and discusses them.
They are presented in the form of multiple choice questions one one page, and the answers on the next and following pages.
The reader is encouraged to guess who said what before turning the page.
I don't know what's scarier: What was said by each individual, or the fact that I guessed correctly 56 times. :-)
Including the 1st 15 in a row. :-)
