So! How was your Christmas?

I spent the day trying to make my 1st YouTube Video. ;-D

My "Christmas" was Saturday morning at my Sisters house having breakfast, and opening gifts, since the Sisters both would be making the rounds of their hubby's relatives the rest of the day, Sunday, and Monday. ;-D

The highlight was the utter horrified panic, freakout, my soon to be 2 year old nephew had when he thought his Mom was going to throw in the trash the 2 huge trucks that had suddenly become his two most favorite toys. ;-D

As his eyes got big, and his face got redder than a tomato, he screamed, and cried his horrified, and confused, little heart out for almost 10 minutes before we could calm him down, and sort out the misunderstanding.

My Sisters, and I, tried to remember if we had had such moments when we were that age, and were stumped. ;-D

But back to me, and my day.

Sunday evening, and most of Monday, I tried for hours to tape myself reading a poem,and failing, before finally getting it right.... sort of.

While it is just a bit too dark, and works fine on Windows Media Player, it was a disaster when converted to YouTube, and so stays private there.

Before this my only attempt was a 30 sec. video of my cat shared among friends.

I am still proud of myself.

Doing what I did was a major accomplishment, and is a confidence builder for future efforts, including possibly taking on the challenge of a Podcast.

Making a video, especially alone, even a 3 minute one, can be intimidating to someone who has never done it before. ;-D
