The most dangerous world leader on the planet is welcomed with open arms, and the University that invites him, says it would have invited Ol' Adolf, too, in 1939.
I didn't know that This University actual DID invite Hitler! In 1933!! ( A Tip of the Hat to Little Green Footballs! )
3 things about the above Ambassadorial Visit deserve our attention today:
Ambassador Luther’s speech focused on what he characterized as Hitler’s peaceful intentions.
Students who criticized the Luther invitation were derided as “ill-mannered children” by the director of Columbia’s Institute of Arts and Sciences.
Columbia also insisted on maintaining friendly relations with Nazi-controlled German universities.
Absolutely disgraceful.
The speech is only minutes away, and I will be watching.
