Ahmadangerousfanatic was allowed a forum that no-one in America would be allowed to have in his country, and most of the Middle East, and he will use what he said, and clips of audience applause in reaction to some of it, to his propaganda advantage.

That is a given.

Yes, there is Academic Freedom, and the 1st Amendment, in America, 2 benefits of an open society he, and others in the Middle East, do not allow their own people, but his is not about those rights being extended to him.

It is the judgement of the University in givng him a forum that legitimzes him in the eyes of far too many in the world.

But it is done, and the question now is... what does the West do next about him, about the terror threat worldwide, and letting the world know the dangers, and will Columbia now allow groups like The Minutemen, to speak, uninterrupted, and protected, in the future?

I do believe that this Forum served a useful purpose, in the end, by allowing more people than usual to hear Ahmgonnaspeakeatcolumbia express himself, and see how he ignores serious debate, and discussion.

Just imagine how his being denied to speak would have been spun around the world, by enemies of Democracy, and Freedom.

Bolinger's opening remarks to the audience, and especially to the Iranian Leader, were strong, and appropriate.

Ambassador Luther’s speech focused on what he characterized as Hitler’s peaceful intentions.

If the man who is the most dangerous leader in the Middle East right now, and who wants to get his hands on a Nuke, and use it, who believes in the supremacy of Islam, and wants us all to convert to it, is allowed anywhere near the site it would be a disgrace, and a shameful smack in the face of our brave troops.

If he is allowed to speak does anyone doubt that he will say something just as incendiary as the last time he was at the UN?

In a move that has stunned New York, the Bloomberg administration is in discussions to escort the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to ground zero during his visit to New York next week, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said today.

The Iranian mission to the U.N. made the request to the New York City Police Department and the Secret Service, who will jointly oversee security during the president’s two-day visit. Mr. Ahmadinejad is scheduled to arrive September 24 to speak to the U.N. General Assembly as the Security Council decides whether to increase sanctions against Iran for its uranium enrichment program.

Mr. Kelly said the NYPD and Secret Service were in discussions with the Iranian mission about the logistics for the possible visit, and whether it will take place at all. He said Mr. Ahmadinejad would not be allowed to descend into the pit for safety reasons related to ongoing construction there.

NYPD Warns of Disaffected Muslim Youth

Is this something America should have seen coming years ago?

I think so.

Average citizens who quietly band together and adopt radical ways pose a mounting threat to American security that could exceed that of established terrorist groups like al-Qaida, a new police analysis has concluded.

The New York Police Department report released Wednesday describes a process in which young men — often legal immigrants from the Middle East who are frustrated with their lives in their adopted country — adopt a philosophy that puts them on a path to violence.

The report was intended to explain how people become radicalized rather than to lay out specific strategies for thwarting terror plots. It calls for more intelligence gathering, and argues that local law enforcement agencies are in the best position to monitor potential terrorists.

Dutch Bishop Off his Meds

A soon to be retiring Dutch Catholic Priest has sparked a controversy in The Netherlands with an idiotic suggestion:

Bishop Tiny Muskens, from the southern diocese of Breda, told Dutch television on Monday that God did not mind what he was named and that in Indonesia, where Muskens spent eight years, priests used the word "Allah" while celebrating Mass.

"Allah is a very beautiful word for God. Shouldn't we all say that from now on we will name God Allah? ... What does God care what we call him? It is our problem."

All to foster "Understanding", and brotherhood, and... and 92% of 4,000 people questioned in a recent survey in the country think the idea is nuts. ;-D

That's the 1st sign of any sense in that country in years, as Muslims are causing all sorts of upheaval in that country, and the rest of Europe.

I agree with this guy:

Gerrit de Fijter, chairman of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands, told the paper he welcomed any attempt to "create more dialogue", but added: "Calling God 'Allah' does no justice to Western identity. I see no benefit in it."

Terrorism in Great Britain Again

First it was 2 car bombs in the heart of London the other day:

Anti-terrorism police have launched a huge manhunt for the people who planted two car bombs in central London.

Then, this morning, there was an incident in Scotland at a major airport:

A car on fire has been driven at the main terminal building at Glasgow Airport, police have confirmed.

4 people were captured, in the aftermath of this latest incident, by alert witnesses on the scene.

In light of the President's ill-advised Amnesty Plan for Illegal Aliens going down in flames, it behooves our leaders to FINALLY ENFORCE existing laws on our books, SECURE our borders with Mexico, and Canada, and listen to the concerns of the LEGAL residents of this great nation.

Robert Kaplan Contemplates Sun-Tzu and Clausewitz, and America's Will to Win

Over at The American Interest Online Robert D. Kaplan has written a fascinating, and provocative, essay that intends to remind us all of some very important ideas:

Some truths are so obvious that to mention them in polite company seems either pointless or rude. What is left unstated, however, can with time be forgotten. Both of these observations apply today to the American way of war. It is obvious that a military can only fight well on behalf of a society in which it believes, and that a society which believes little is worth fighting for cannot, in the end, field an effective military. Obvious as this is, we seem to have forgotten it.

Remembering will help us in several ways. First, it will show us that the greatest asymmetry in our struggle with radical Islam is not one of arms or organization or even of ideology in any simple sense, but one of morale in the deepest sense. Second, it will provide an insight into the state of civil-military relations in our own country, which is a growing problem many of us refuse to acknowledge. And third, it will show us why some kinds of wars--"in-between" wars, I call them--have become inherently difficult for the United States to fight and win."

I hope as many people as possible take the time to read this article, and contemplate its message.

Is the Future of London Islamic?

When I read a recent article, in Time Out London, my jaw dropped:

It's the capital's fastest growing religion, based on noble traditions and compassionate principles, yet Islam can still be tainted by mistrust and misunderstanding. Here Time Out argues that an Islamic London would be a better place.

Will someone please, please, tell me what in the hell this Moonbat is smoking???

This whole piece is stunningly, mindbogglingly, ignorant, and blind.

The writer obviously has not been paying attention to the world around him, and in Europe.

Europeans Fleeing Continent

The natives are restless as Islam invades the Continent:

Last year more than 155,000 Germans emigrated from their native country. Since 2004 the number of ethnic Germans who leave each year is greater than the number of immigrants moving in...

In a survey conducted in 2005 among German university students, 52 percent said they would rather leave their native country than remain there. By "voting with their feet," young, educated Germans affirm that Germany has no future to offer them and their children...

There are two main reasons why so-called "ethno-Germans" emigrate. Some complain that the tax rates in Germany are so high that it is no longer worthwhile working for a living there. Others indicate they no longer feel at home in a country whose cultural appearance is changing dramatically...

This indicates that the flight from Europe is related to a loss of confidence in the future of nations which have taken in the Trojan horse of Islamism, but which, unlike the Trojans, lack the guts to fight.

My head hurts trying to sort this all out.

It's about time!

What took her so long to figure out that she was being used, and manipulated, and that as long as she stuck to the script of the Radical Left, without the slightest deviation, then all would be a lovefest?

The thing is she also discovered that even then there would be someone, somewhere, on the Left, that would find reason to turn against her.

Reading the over 1300 comments to her "Resignation" is just as fascinating, and enlightening, an exercise as reading what she wrote.

Now, maybe, finally, America can focus on how important it is that this war must be won, or Western Civilization will be up a creek without a paddle.

Pew Study on American Muslim Community a Mixed Bag

An extensive survey that exposes the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, of the Muslim Community in our midst, in America.

The Pew Research Center conducted more than 55,000 interviews to obtain a national sample of 1,050 Muslims living in the United States. Interviews were conducted in English, Arabic, Farsi and Urdu.

FROM THE INTRO:

The first-ever, nationwide, random sample survey of Muslim Americans finds them to be largely assimilated, happy with their lives, and moderate with respect to many of the issues that have divided Muslims and Westerners around the world.....

But there are some extrememly disturbing elements:

Muslim Americans reject Islamic extremism by larger margins than do Muslim minorities in Western European countries, however...

More than half of Muslim Americans believe that the U.S. government singles Muslims out for extra surveillance.

More than half of Muslims overall hold a very unfavorable view of al-Qaida -- but only 36 percent of African-American Muslims do.

Relatively few Muslim Americans believe the U.S.-led war on terror is a sincere effort to reduce terrorism.

Only one in four Muslims believes that Arab men conducted the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Younger Muslims are more likely to say that suicide bombing in defense of Islam can be, at least some times, justified.

One-quarter of Muslims under age 30 said suicide bombing is legitimate on some occasions.

That compares with 6 percent of older Muslims.

Thus the "Good News", supposedly, is that "Nonetheless, absolute levels of support for Islamic extremism among Muslim Americans are quite low, especially when compared with Muslims around the world."

I am just soooo relieved! NOT!

Until there is a Million Muslim March on Washington to show support for the fight against terror, support Israel's right to exist, and the assimilation of the Palestinians into the already existing Muslim Countries, as should have been done in the 1950's, support Democratic, Free, and Modern, Governments in the Middle East, support equality, and freedom from "slavery" for Women, denounce "Radical" Islam and ALL elements of the Koran that require the conquering, and conversion, of the "Infidel" ( That's everyone who is not Muslim. ) by any means at hand, from Deception, Lying, and Propaganda, to Violence, and Killing, and declare their intention to support, unequivocably, complete assimilation into the Western, Modern World  [ Rooting out Terrorist Cells, and Terrorist Support, and Apologist Organizations, and the Islamofascists that have infiltrated U.S. Communities, Mosques, and Schools ( Madrasses, and the like. ), would be a great place to start this Modernization. ] ......

I refuse to believe that there is such a person as a "Moderate" Muslim, and that Islam is a "Religion of Peace."

Controversial Sharia courts have been set up in major towns and cities to impose Islamic law and enable Muslims to shun the legitimate British legal system.

Last night religious leaders and politicians expressed outrage that Sharia law is gaining an increasing foothold in our society.

Critics insisted that the Govern­ment is allowing a two-tier legal system to flourish in the name of political correctness and that the authority of UK justice is being undermined.

The Barbers of Iran

Well, guys, and gals, too, as you know, here in the lands of The Great Satan the freedom to cut your hair into any style your ego, and vanity, demands, to let it grow, and grow, and GROW, or to even ban it permanently, or just for a while, from your pretty little head, is one of those rights enshrined in the 9th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution:

#9: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

In Iran it's quite another story...

Iranian police have warned barbers against offering Western-style hair cuts or plucking the eyebrows of their male customers, Iranian media said on Sunday.

The report by a reformist daily, later confirmed by an Iranian news agency, appeared to be another sign of the authorities cracking down on clothing and other fashion deemed to be against Islamic values.

Radical Islam wants to bring the genius of the Prophet to the rest of us, remember, and so there goes your prescious eyebrow plucker, and your Mach 3000 razors.

It came a week after police launched a crackdown against the growing numbers of young women testing the limits of the law with shorter, brighter and skimpier clothing ahead of the summer months.

Under Iran's Islamic Sharia law, imposed after the 1979 revolution, women are obliged to cover their hair and wear long, loose-fitting clothes to disguise their figures.

How dare those Ladies wear something comfy!

Violators can receive lashes, fines and imprisonment.

The student news agency ISNA quoted a police statement as saying: "In an official order to barber shops, they have been warned to avoid using Western hair styles and doing men's eyebrows."

Iranian young men have in recent years started paying more attention to the way they look and dress, especially in affluent parts of the capital Tehran. Spiked up hair, by using gel, is known as the Khorusi (Rooster) style and some also use make-up.

Several hairdressers for men in Tehran offer cuts in the style of Hollywood movie stars and other Western celebrities. Clients can also have their eyebrows plucked.

Well there ya go! Signs of a budding Democracy Movement being snipped in the bud, cut off at the pass, shorn of .....

Barbers who do not follow these rules might be closed down for a month and even lose their permits to operate, Etemad quoted him as saying.

"Currently some barber shops apply make-up and use (hair) styles that are in line with those in European countries and America," Eftekharifard said.

He added: "An official order has been sent to the union ... not to apply make-up on men's faces (or) do eyebrows ... and hence the barbers are not allowed to do these things."

As word of this travesty spreads I fully expect to see Western Barbers, Hairdressers, Salonista's, male, and female, Gay, and Straight, Conservative, and Lib, well, Ok, maybe mostly Conservative ( To show any displeasure with the Muslims would be to against the tenents of Diversity, and give the impression that the Moonbat Wing of Liberalism supports America's Democratizing actions in Iraq, and the Middle East! ), marching in the streets in solidarity with their fellows in oppressive Iran.

A Jihad Grows in Brooklyn

This doesn't seem so bad....

A new public secondary school that is to include Middle Eastern studies in its curriculum will focus on culture, not the region's political conflicts, Department of Education officials said yesterday. "The school will not be a vehicle for political ideology," a Department of Education spokesman, David Cantor, said of the Khalil Gibran International Academy, due to open this September in Brooklyn.

As for the sorts of topics the school will cover, the CEO of the Office of New Schools, Garth Harries, gave as an example a math lesson plan that would mention that an Arabic mathematician invented the concept of zero. "It's going to follow Department of Education regulations," the director of the Arab-American Family Support Center, Lena Alhusseini, who helped design the school, said. "It's going to be exactly like all the schools in the city, the same curriculum."

My take on the school: In principle it is a great idea – the United States needs more Arabic-speakers. In practice, however, Arabic instruction is heavy with Islamist and Arabist overtones and demands....

For all these reason, an Arabic-language school in New York needs to be held under special scrutiny.

But political correctness will make such scrutiny impossible. One can see the kernel of this denial in the statement by John Ali-Habib, vice chairman of Brooklyn's Republican Party and a member of the school's planning committee: "There's an Asian school opening in Flushing. It's the same thing." But it's precisely not the same thing.

Therefore, unless such controls are clearly put in place, I am opposed to the opening of this school.

A Feminist Gets an Islamic Education

La Shawn Barber has been one of my favorite Bloggers for years, and one of her latest entries makes it clear, yet again, why:

A western feminist stepped down from her Ivory Tower and moved to a Muslim country with her Muslim husband and received the kind of education she never would have received in any left-leaning western university.

La Shawn Barber is a priceless treasure!

Her bold commentary is a response to the ignorance, blindness, and appeasement of far too many in the West, and is a brilliantly refreshing wake up call to everyone who opens their eyes, hearts, and minds, to what she writes, and reports.

I am honored to be a long time presense in her Blogroll ( As she is in my own. )

2 statements she makes in the course of this story speak for me, and many people like me:

1. Though some Muslim countries may not be as brutal and backward, there is no such thing as "women's rights" in Islam or even "individual rights." This is why people say that Islam is incompatible with western societies. The suppression of individual rights is an integral part of living under Sharia, and it is not racist or bigotry to say so.

My problem isn't with "radical" Islam. I have a problem with the entire religion, especially the desire of its followers to live under religious law and to have that law imposed on westerners. In western countries. Every time I blog about my issues with Islam, somebody somewhere calls me a religious bigot. Whatever. Sticks and stones, you know?

2. Islamophobe. What a stupid word. If that label describes anyone who thinks the West is far superior to the Middle East and that an Islamic state is a less than ideal place to live, Islamo-lovers can call me whatever they like. The irony is totally lost on them. Only in a western country, particularly the U.S., do individuals even have the freedom to broadcast their bloody opinions about us Islamophobes in the first place! Dolts.

Why do those words speak for me?

Decades, and centuries, from now, Historians will be debating the impact that the Internet had on the fate of the world, and I hope they are folks like me, and not a bunch of Radical Islamists.

US Corporal Sends Message To Democrats in Congress

Cpl. Chris Mason recorded a video message "to the Democratic Party Leadership" before he was killed in action in Iraq.

Iran Takes Brit Sailors Captive: A Pajamas Media Round-up

In the black of night, our patrol boat skimmed across the Shatt al-Arab waterway, looking out for intruders on the disputed waters.

I was accompanying a Royal Marine patrol as it cruised Iraqi waters looking for suicide bombers trying to attack the two oil platforms that export 90 per cent of the country's oil. The patrol was also hunting smugglers bringing arms and contraband into the country.

Until this point, our only contact with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards had been polite, but stiff, contacts over the radio. On Thursday, when HMS Cornwall spotted an Iranian ship on the Iraqi side of the waterway, she approached to warn them off. The Iranians slunk into the blackness without demur.

All changed dramatically yesterday morning when 15 Royal Marines and Navy personnel, including one woman, approached a Japanese merchant ship suspected of smuggling second-hand cars into the country without paying tax. Suddenly, their inflatables were surrounded by boats of the Revolutionary Guards and they were overpowered and taken into Iranian national waters.

George Orwell meet Oriana Fallaci

The brave, and opinionated, author, and journalist, Oriana Falacci, died last year, and I didn't discover her great books until long afterward.

George Orwell was many things, and sometimes he was an idiot:

In February it only took me a only week to read the 1st 2 books of her angry, passionate, powerful Trilogy of books on the threat that the religion of Islam ( not just "Radical" Islam, but Islam PERIOD. ) is to Western Civilization, and the world.

The Rage and the Pride, and The Force of Reason, are considered dangerous, and worse, for 1 simple reason:

They forcefully lead the charge of all those brave folks who are desperately trying to tell us what is going on in Europe, and Britain, and how it can easily spread to the shores of America, the bastion of Capitalism, Christianity, Freedom, and Democracy.

I've read several other powerful, revealing, books in the past year that opened my eyes to the threat, and what they revealed horrified, and concerned me.

While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam is Destroying the West from Within by Bruce Bawer, Menace in Europe: Why the Continent's Crisis is America's, too by Claire Berlinski, and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam ( and the Crusades ) by Robert Spencer, all are MUST reads, the 2 Fallaci books truly affected me deeply, and I am truly worried about our future when I see those delusional protesters, and politicians calling for us to leave Iraq, and to talk with Iran ( For that matter why the hell are we so friendly with Saudi Arabia, among others in the Middle East, anywho? Is it even remotely conceivable to anyone that the whole lot are playing the West for blind, and stupid fools? ).

Those who say Iraq is not important to The War Against Terror don't have a clue.

While the Jihadists, are fighting us, and the Shiites, and Sunnis, are fighting each other over who gets to run the not really a Democracy we seem to be helping them try to set up in place of Sadaam, Islam is not coming here to bomb us on our soil, and its re-conquest of Europe is slowed, if just a fraction.

All 56 Islamic nations in the world at the time ( 1992 ), that were part of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, signed onto this.

This document declares that "all the rights and freedoms stipulated in this Declaration are subject to the Islamic Shari'ah."

And to think that some apologists for Islam are trying to make the Western World believe that the idea that Sharia is "central to Islam" is a minority opinion among Muslim believers"!

Let me begin by answering her questions:

Does he get this from Church? = No, I have been to church only twice in the last 17 years, and one of those was for Family History purposes.

Does he get this from Fox News or what? = Both. The best answer is that I get my info from everywhere. I get my info not just from sources I might agree with, politically, and culturally, but it is a simple matter of doing a proper search to find damning information in the words of Muslims, Islamists, and the like, on my own.

The simple truth is that Islam, especially in its radical forms, has been on a mission since the lightbulb went on over the head of Muhammad.

THAT'S Bloody scary.

If my critic had bothered to count she would have known that of the 330, or so, entries I have made, to date, since joining SU, only about 45 have been on the subject of Islam, and Muslims.... not exactly, um, "every page". ;-D

Calling me names without doing a single thing to PROVE that what I say, report on, and link to, is wrong, is not the way to win an arguement, and prove that your opinions are right, and I am therefore a hater.

If calling me ISLAMOPHOBIC is meant to intimidate me into apologizing to, and appeasing, those who disagree with me, and stop Stumbling on the most important issues of our time, then, I'm sorry to disappoint.

Call me more of an IslamISTphobe = "IslamISTphobia: A rational, and justified, fear of violent radical IslamOfascists whose ideology calls for enslaving the planet with a world Caliphate, and Sharia Law for everyone on Earth."

As the blogger who wrote that says... "IslamISTphobia: Don't be afraid of it, embrace it."

Here are some thoughts on the subject from a book called The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam ( And the Crusades ) by Robert Spencer:

1. No-one had heard of "Islamophobia" until a few years ago when the term was created to intimidate, and silence, critics of violent Jihad in Islam.

2. Some groups are even trying to brand those who tell the truth about Islam, and Jihad, as purveyors of "Hate Speech".

3. The UN has condemned "Islamophobia" while turning a blind eye to atrocities committed by Jihadists.

4. Does labeling as "Islamophobic" the practice of "attacking the entire religion of Islam as a problem for the world" mean that it is also Islamophobic to focus attention on the Qu'ran, and the Sunnah of the Prophet as motivations for terrorist activity? If so, then Jihad Terrorists worldwide are themselves "Islamophobic," for they routinely point to Jihad passages from the Qu'ran, and Hadith to justify their actions.

5. While it may seem "Islamophobic" to deny "the active existence, in the contemporary world of a moderate Muslim majority," it is also beside the point. Whether a moderate Muslim majority exists depends on how you define "moderate Muslim".

6. "Islamophobia" is a weapon of Jihad.

As Victor Davis Hanson points out: "Any unfairness or rudeness that acrues from the "Security profiling" of Middle Eastern young males is dwarfed by efforts of Islamic fascists themselves - here in the U.S., in the U.K., the Netherlands, France, Turkey, and Israel - to murder Westerners, and blow up civilians. The real danger to thousands of innocents is not an occasional evangelical zealot, or uncouth politician, spouting off about Islam, but the deliberately orchestrated, and very sick, anti-semitism, and anti-Americanism, that floods the airways worldwide, emanating from Iran, Lebanaon, and Syria, to be sure, but also from our erstwhile "allies" in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar."

7. The evidence is overwhelming, and beyond dispute, that Jihadist activity is occuring in the United States: "Are officials trying not to alarm Americans? Or are they trying to protect innocent Muslims from backlash? Whatever their motivations, they are keeping Americans in the dark about the true nature, and extent, of the Jihadist terror threat.

8. One Australian state has outlawed speaking the truth about Islam... and Great Britain, and other countries are contemplating similar laws.

When the Western World turns to such actions of appeasement "THAT'S Bloody Scary!"

When leaders such as the Archbishop of Canterbury spout idiocy of the kind reported by Bat Ye'or, in her book Eurabia....

On October 14, 2003 he "urged America to recognize that terrorists can "have serious moral goals." He said that, in its criticism of al-Qaeda, America ignored this point, along with the fact that terrorists pursued an aim both "intelligible and desireable." Thus, he said, America "loses the power of self-criticism and becomes trapped in a self referential morality."

... then all freedom loving people need to be concerned.

FROM America Alone by Mark Steyn:

1. "The Islamists incite Jihad from American, Canadian, British, European, and Australian mosques, and they get away with it. The West's elites lapse reflexively into twittering over insufficient "respect", and entirely fictional outbreaks of "Islamophobia."

Willful ignorance, and blindness, to the threat Western Civilization, and Freedom, face from the so-called "Religion of Peace", is NOT something any concerned citizen can afford, and it is most definitely NOT something we want in our religious, and political officials, and leaders.

My answer to all those in the See No Muslim Evil, Hear No Muslim Evil, Appeasement Brigades who ignorantly, and blindly, call all, like me, who refuse to go meekly along with their Multi-Culturalist, can't we all just get along, Anti-Capitalism, Anti-America BS, haters, and racists, for understanding that the West has been in a fight for its survival with Islam since at least the 60's, a battle that non-Muslims have been forced to periodically fight since the light-bulb went on over the head of Muhammad....

Is to continue doing what little I can, here, and on my personal blog, to wake up a sleeping world to the danger hiding under its bed.

The Stumbler in question regularly posts links, and opinions, that clearly show her warped, and misguided, worldview ( And a many people lap it up quite eagerly. ), and since I was not able to respond by private e-mail, 1st, went ahead with the above. ( She apparently prefers not to hear, directly, from those who disagree with her, or whom she launches personal attacks upon. )

No further comment has come from her since, though she has read my response, I'm sure. ;-D
