There are a growing number Bloggers with sites dedicated to the proposition that bike riding is good for you and fun.

In various ways we all provide commentary, and opinion, reports about events, and news, write reviews, stories, and travelogues, share photographs, and spread the word about the wide variety of websites of interest to anyone who rides a bike.

BikeBloggers spread the word, and the word is BICYCLE!

This Edition showcases March 2006 posts.

This series is about bicycling, and bicyclists, and is open to all types of cyclists, and even to Bloggers who are NOT BikeBloggers but have written a post on bicycling that would be of interest, and wish to share it with a wider audience.

Expect to read my own thoughts about some, or all, of the submitted entries.

I'm primarily a bike blogger, but my blog occasionally diverts into other topics, such as nutrition, and bariatric surgery. I had a bariatric procedure done and this ride I am submitting is on the 1 year anniversary of my bariatric procedure. Cycling has been one of the biggest factors in my success with the weight loss.

He begins his wonderful, photo filled tale this way:

According to a lifelong resident of Delphi, Indiana, the first sign of Spring isn't the robin arriving in Indiana! It's the site of a cyclist riding through Delphi with full touring kit, just passin' through! This year, that was me.

2. and 3. Danny Gold writes a Blog called The Bicycle Diaries, and he descirbes it this way:

This is my journey riding a bike from Cairo to Cape Town on the 2006 Tour da Afrique. It should prove entertaining and even a little educational, but that is purely by accident.

Trust me, this blog is both entertaining, AND edumicational. ;-D
